Can I generate insoles directly from foot scans?

Yes. Import .stl or .obj scans, align with toe lines and control points, and create parametric base shapes in minutes.

Does the software support embossing and texturing?

Absolutely. You can apply grayscale images to add metatarsal pads, textures, or branding with options for blur, feather, and inversion.

What types of lattice structures can I use?

Toolkit3D supports adaptive, conformal, implicit/TPMS, and stochastic lattices. You can also import custom DXF unit cells or modulate thickness with pressure maps.

Can I prepare models for mass production?

Yes. Insoles can be automatically nested into printer layouts (e.g., EOS SLI format), and midsoles can be converted into 3-part molds optimized for CNC or additive workflows.

Does it work for both insoles and midsoles?

Yes. The suite includes standalone apps: Insole (scan-to-print), Midsole (profile-driven with textures/lattices), and Design to Mold (tooling-ready outputs).

What file formats are supported?

Export options include decimated STL, full STL, HVX voxel files, silhouettes, and mold component files.

Is parametric control included?

Absolutely. You can apply grayscale images to add metatarsal pads, textures, or branding with options for blur, feather, and inversion.

Can I simulate or optimize material properties?

Yes. Pressure-map modulation and image-driven gradients allow you to control stiffness, cushioning, and comfort before production.
